Kindergarten Registration

If you have a child who will be five years old before the first day of September 2010, your child is eligible to enter kindergarten in the Gateway School District for the 2010-2011 school year. To request a kindergarten enrollment packet, please complete this form and return it to Gateway School District, Kindergarten Registration, 9000 Gateway Campus Blvd., Monroeville, PA15146 or call theGateway Administrative Offices at (412) 372-5300 or send an email to Email switchboard at Gateway. If you have a child already in the district, you may have your child return this form to his/her school principal.

You will receive a registration packet in the mail. To register, bring the completed registration packet, along with your child’s birth certificate, a copy of your deed or mortgage statement or a current lease, and two additional proofs of residency (current utility bill, tax bill, or driver's license), and immunization records to the District Administrative Offices. Registrations will not be accepted at the elementary buildings. If your child is missing an immunization, you can submit updated immunizations at a later date.

Please register early. The sooner an accurate enrollment count can be determined, the better prepared the district can be in meeting the needs of all students. The deadline to register is April 30, 2010 for families who are currently residents of the school district.

Directions to Gateway School District Adminstrative Offices:

From Downtown Pittsburgh (Parkway Route 376)

Take the Parkway East (376) towards Monroeville and the Turnpike
Do not take the first Monroeville exit (Business RT 22)
Stay on the Parkway – Go past the Penn Hills exit and travel several more miles
Take the next Monroeville exit (14A)
Off the ramp, go straight through (4) lights
At the 5th light make a RIGHT onto Gateway Campus Blvd.
At first stop sign – Make a LEFT and follow road around.
District Offices are located next to Moss Side Middle School.
Parking is available on the side of the building.

From The Pennsylvania Turnpike

Take Exit # 57 for Pittsburgh / Monroeville (Old Exit #6)
Follow signs to Monroeville (RT 22 Business) – ramp is about 200 yards on the left.
Off the ramp, IMMEDIATELY move to the left turning lane and make LEFT at first light (Parkvale bldg., Palace Inn, Hampton Inn as landmarks)
Travel straight through (3) lights
At the 4th light make a RIGHT onto Gateway Campus Blvd.
At first stop sign – Make a LEFT and follow road around.
District Offices are located next to Moss Side Middle School.
Parking is available on the side of the building.
