While power is gradually being restored across the district, we continue to experience outages and transportation disruptions due to ongoing repair and cleanup efforts following this week’s severe storm. This includes road closures, heavy traffic congestion, and some traffic lights still non-operational creating hazardous driving conditions and delays.
Due to these continued challenges and uncertainties Friday, May 2 2025 will be a remote learning day, with assignments for students to complete at their own pace, taking into account the unique circumstances of each family. There will be no live classes.
We recognize that many families may be facing ongoing challenges due to the widespread power outages. These disruptions may affect students' ability to engage in online learning. Please know that we are fully aware of these challenges and remain committed to offering the support and flexibility needed during this time. For students who are not able to participate in remote instruction on Friday, May 2 due to connectivity issues, students will be able to complete any work assigned by Friday May 9th. This will provide students and families time to reach out to their teacher for any support or time that may be needed. Teachers will be available by email or phone
