Pre-K Registration Information
The Gateway School District’s Pre-Kindergarten program provides children, ages 3- 4, with a comprehensive program aligned to the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards. The Pre-K program will offer a supportive classroom environment that prepares children for socialization opportunities, early literacy, and mathematical reasoning activities.
The Program offers a full-day program, Monday through Friday, and requires a 5-day-a-week commitment. Available spots are limited.

The actual school day times are being finalized. The school day will be a minimum of 5.5 hours. The approximate school day hours could be 9:00-2:30
The Gateway School District Pre-K Program is open to students who are 3 - 4 years old by August 31 for the school year you are enrolling.

There are two primary eligibility requirements that all children must meet in order to be considered eligible for the Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts. They are age and income eligible.
Age Eligibility: a child who is at least three years of age and is younger then the entry age of Kindergarten. Kindergarten age is five years of age prior to August 31st.
Income Eligibility: Families whose income is at or below 300 percent according to their family size see table at the bottom of this page. Proof of income will be required.
No, transportation will not be provided.
